Didn't think about the shmem problem.  I spent a while trying to get an old
copy of sim to run but couldn't.  The new one keeps jumping between red and
yellow on the position labels and jumps back and forth from estop reset to
machine on.  I think that it has a problem with its joints.  Seems to be
right in the emcmotsim cause no matter what other files you try the problem
stays with it.

I've got a gui running that I built this from.  I was working on revision
of it when the backplot idea came up.  I'll be happy to share that.  It has
most all of the control stuff in it, that backplot is missing.  But of
course you can hack up backplot.

I had some visions of making a set of touch screen buttons where the canvas
widget is.  They would change depending on what you were trying to do.
I've located a touch screen that the company says will plug right in.

I left a space in backplot for the 3D tab on top but couldn't figure the
math to do it right then. I was just going to rotate the view up 45 on xy
toward z and 45 between between.  Real 3D is a gamers nightmare.
