Since this is the EMC list, you must be asking in reference to EMC.
DNC doesn't make sense in this case. DNC was a nasty hack, which only
looked good when compared to paper tape. Drip-feeding a machine
with hundreds of blocks of lookahead is totally the wrong approach.
Maybe you'd better tell us why you are asking, to get a better answer.
Ethernet and FTP do a really nice job of replacing DNC.
