List
There are a couple of recent developments with respect to the NAMES show
this year.
Roland tells us that there will be two CNC presentations one on Saturday
and one Sunday. They will focus on different aspects of the CNC job --
one will be using/programming CNC the other fitting or retrofitting.
The second major development is that the NAMES sponsors are going to
allow us (CNC folk) to use one of the rooms right next to our displays
for a get together from five on Saturday when the show closes for the
day. This party will last as long as we want it to. No specific agenda
and anyone is welcome. We'll get together an attendees list with
prefferred food -- pizza and pop was suggested.
If you have projects or pictures and descriptions of projects that you
would like to bring, or have someone put up for you, contact me and I'll
pass the space requirements on.
Matt and I have been talking and have decided to stay an extra day after
the show is over. We plan on this being an EMC day where we can compare
notes and share both formal and informal presentations as well as
discussion. If you can get there for part or all of the show and for
this extra day we'd like to see you. Contact Matt Shaver
<mshaver-at-erols.com> if you have something to share and get it into the
Sunday night or Monday agenda. Show off your machines, talk about the
latest rt stuff or whatever. If you have a burden for a feature or a
part done project come and twist arms.
Paul Corner tells me that he will be over for the show again this year.
