Are you running a metric configuration ?

Post your ini file and we can pick over the details - I suspect you might 
have the SCALE and VELOCITY parameters too low.

What info do you want to redirect to the USB ?
The stepper motor signals are generated by a realtime kernel module that 
writes directly to the parallel port. Whilst it is not too difficult to 
modify freqmod/steppermod to use a different port, a USB interface might 
require some hacking of the USB drivers.

The general IO signals generated by bridgeportio would be fairly easy to 
redirect - But again, a low level wrapper would need to be written. Take a 
look at emc/src/drivers/parport.c to see what functions need to be 
implimented.
