Re: EMC and Red Hat 8.0
Hi Paul ,
I tried compiling the Kernel-2.4.18 ,RTlinux-3.2 and GCC-3.2 on Redhat-8.0
.Compiling went on well with few warnings .All examples under rtlinux worked
fine .
Then I tried the installation of sourceforge- emc-2.2.16 with recent
rcs_src.tar from Nist .It looks like building rcs properly .I had a warning
that realplat.sh not exist under /rcslib/etc/ . I just found the file
realplat.sh is available in sourceforge CVS.I have to try again after
putting realplat.sh.There was no error .
I just proceeded compiling EMC . It gives error while compiling emcio .
Error file reported error in iosh.cc line no 1234.I checked the file
location . It is related to Tclextend .
I could not identify the problem .
Regards
Sivaraj
