Hi Matthew

I'm on the road for a few more days but didn't see any other answers to 
your question.  The ini line you mention will cause the default value 
to be g20.  You could add a line at the end of the file 
plat/nonrealtime/bin/tkemc that reads

emc_task_plan_init

on a line by itself.  I believe that command should take care of the 
behavior you describe.  I'd make a backup of that file just in case it 
doesn't work.
