Hi all I am currently useing rtai and 2.4.18 on Mandrake 8.2 (Beta) , the problems I have found are that with 2.96 ( Mandrake inistall ) that you get several errors on compiling the kernel and rtai refuses to build. To get around this i have downloaded gcc-2.95.3 from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/gcc and installed it . You then make a link in the /etc/alternatives directory from gcc-2.95.3 to gcc. This soould change the version of the compiler that is being used . The only problem is that the compiler dosnt understand K7 and P4 soif you have either of these set you proccesor type to K6 anr i686. Paul, have the change to emcmot.c been commited to the cvs yet for the problem in building freqmot.o in rtai?
