Hi Richard

No USB support is compiled in to the 2.2.18 kernel supplied with the 
BDI-2.xx. During testing of the earlier 2.4.x kernels, Ian Wright 
successfully managed to break them or find a device that wouldn't work.

For what a PS/2 or serial mouse costs, (around £2 each), I'd save the USB 
device for office use rather than muck it up in the workshop.
