G'day.
I've started work on the BDI-like Debian distrib, based on Woody (2.2.XX
kernel for now, though) - I've also created a mailing list for anybody
interested to contribute ideas or code. Its called "RSI" - short for
"Really Stupid Installation" ;-)
You can subscribe by sending a email to majordomo-at-computeraddictions.com.au
with the following in the body:
subscribe rsi-devel
I've looked at the PGI installer someone else on the list suggested, and it
looks great - I'll probably use this, along with a custom debian based on
packages from woody and potato. We're (illya, also on the list) are already
running this on a hybrid woody/potato, I just need to get RTLinux (patched
kernel) and EMC into an installable/updatable (.deb) format, along with the
installer.
