Can't help a bit with the PCMCIA card but I think that the problem with mount
may be with finding the device on which the MS file system resides. If this
is TNG, you can start the control center using the panel monitor icon that is
half covered with green. Look in information, block devices and it should
show you all the devices that are there. If you are doing this as root, you
can mount and unmount from there also.
