Thanks for testing this. I'm working on setting up a default for the
script and ini file, which will obtain the base address for shared
memory automatically if you don't provide it explicitly. You won't need
to have a SHMEM_BASE_ADDRESS in your .ini file anymore, unless you want
to force it to be something different than what you set aside in
/etc/lilo.conf. You may want to do this in case you are using part of
the shared memory for something else.
There is apparently some RT-Linux code for dealing with shared memory in
a simpler way. I'll look into this when I try the port to kernel 2.2,
the Red Hat 6.0 kernel.

I forgot to include minimilltaskintf.cc in the distribution, so the
build for minimilltask died. I put it back in and will put a new
distribution up on the web site.
The FTP site will be up soon, so I'll move the distribution off the web
site and put it back on the FTP site. Does anyone prefer having the
distribution on the emc web site as opposed to a real FTP site? That is,
is:
http://www.isd.mel.nist.gov/projects/emc/distributions/linux_2_0_36
eaiser than the soon-to-be available:
ftp://ftp.isd.mel.nist.gov/pub/emc/distributions/linux_2_0_36
?
