Actually, it is true, I think... Fred Proctor at NIST once (or twice)
told me that if you use an STG card with minimill i/o, the 4th axis d/a
outputs a voltage to control a spindle drive. I never saw it work
myself, but he did say he had it running. There's no feedback involved
and I don't know how the scale is set (probably OUTPUT_SCALE).
