This is an easy one to fix.  In /usr/src/linux edit the Makefile with your
favorite editor, search for the line

#export      INSTALL_PATH=/boot

and delete the # at the beginning of the line that makes it a comment so you
have:

export      INSTALL_PATH=/boot

save the file, now when you build the kernel with "make bzlilo" it will save
the image in /boot AND run lilo for you so you only need reboot to the new
kernel.
