tkemc problems

Hello,

 as you all know I've been having a lot of problems running EMC lately,
I was able to trace the source files but my knowledge of C++ and tcl/tk
is even less than my C one.

  my problem is as follows, which may or may not be related to EMC at
all.

  here is the problem.....
  
  1.- select a motion module different than emcmotsim and tkemc.
  2.- use the calibration menu to view/change the PID values.
  3.- update the gain value from, lets say 1000 to 10.
  4.- select ok.
  5.- use the calibration menu to view/change the PID values.

  boom! P value is again 1000.

  I traced the motion value and it receives the correct value and
updates the proper data structure, however tkemc panel does not reflect
that change, but it works fine when ecmmotsim is used.

 is this problem related to the use of mbuff's? 


  I just tested xemc and it works fine, however I'd rather use tkemc.

  RH62. rtl3.0, kern 2.2.18, latestest cvs source.

  hints on where to search are welcomed.
