Parallel port pinouts

Can EMC be made to use the same pins on the parallel port for the same
functions as Dancam?  I am hooking up a Dan Mauch stepper driver and it says
to use Dancam, but I don't have Dancam, and EMC is already installed on my
machine.  Do I need to rewire the cable to the parallel port, or can it be
done in the ini file?
