emctuning and coordinate system

 hello folks!

  I tried running emctuning script but it makes a call to
/usr/local/nist/emc/system in the doTune subroutine.

  also was trying to use the logging facility on tkemc but it either
starts logging when you press "save" or it does not.

  is it intended to start logging under "auto" and "mdi" modes only or
can it be used under manual mode too?

  Also I have a CNC question, when I jog or mdi the table to the left,
the value on the X encoder decreases, is this correct or do I have the
encoder wired backwards?
 
  also, where is home supposed to be? 
  moving the table all the way to the left and all the way in?
