Hi Bill
If you are using tcl/tk for your GUI, then yes, commands to EMC would be sent
via emcsh. If, on the other hand, you are using C, then studying emcsh and
emcio will show you how to communicate the commands.
I'm very slowly working through all the source files making notes and pooling
all the assorted comments in to one document - This should help in adding new
modules or GUI frontends.
