Re: Bin Files comments and suggestions - Very long
Ethan,
I can answer only a couple questions here. #4 and #5. I agree,
that this is an excellent program, and getting better all the time,
thanks to Ray, Paul, Jon, Will, Fred, and whoever else is helping
with the work on it. I am assuming you are using the BDI and
Ray's tarball dated 08/01? If so This is what I did.

Well a different version is in the /usr/local/emc/tcl/scripts directory
named "tkbackplot.tcl". Copy to /usr/local/emc/plat/linux_2_2_18/bin/
directory and rename it to tkbackplot. Might want to rename the
tkbackplot allready there to tkbackplot.old first in case you want
to change back.

Yes, In the present version, TkEmc is not reading the INI file
for the Commanded/Actual settings. Edit the TkEmc file in
the /usr/local/emc/plat/linux_2_2_18/bin/ directory. At around
line 537 change "actual" to "commanded". I just learned this
myself. As far as the World/Joint setting, mine comes up world
by itself. For the font, there is a file in the emc directory called
tkemc open that up and edit the font sizes there.
