Has anyone experienced step pulse instability?
I have been monitoring the step and dir pulses and have been
seeing glitches in the step pulse stream during moves. The period
sometimes changes as much 200% during what should be constant velocity during
the move.
I am running emc on a 1G athlon with 128M
of ram. I ran a interrupt latency test for RTLinux, and it runs very
consistently at around 8.4us.
Any ideas?
