RE: 3 Axis -> 5 Axis

An aside here. The latest sourceforge stuff has a tkemc that has been
modified by Keith Outwater. It allows both joint and world coordinates
systems and reads the number and names of each axis in the ini file and
displays their coordinates.

IMHO 'cause I haven't tried it. Just define A and B in the ini and signals
should appear on the relevant parport pins when you ask for A and B moves
in the part program.

What is confusing me some is the nature of the coordinate system that will
be used when these two rotary arms are piled on top of each other and are
sitting on the xy table. The reason that I wonder about this is that if
the fifth rotates perpendictular to the fourth then it will conceptually
change from a B axis to a C axis as the fourth rotates through 90 degrees.
I hope that the correct answer is that the EMC will compute the position
and orientation of the work successfully. Of course, I've only had one cup
of coffee this morning so may be way off base.
