That didnt work out,  I'm sure i could do it now.  I decided to move to
a faster box, drop to 2.2.18, but kept rtl3.0,  required some linking
changes with the libs, but I managed to get it compiled and working in
simulation modes and run modes.  Very neat,  now its time to build an
interface card for the steppers I have. this should be fun.   Past list
posts helped me over come some of the pitfalls I had ran into,  Thanks.
