Re: 5 axis controller

Hi Peter,
the ZipEMC disk didnt ship with the CVS program installed
but we can fix that here

to add CVS to the ZipEMC distro first go to
http://www.cvshome.org/dev/codelinux.html
and download the Linux glibc_2.1 version (~1.4Mb)
move it to /sbin/ directory and change the file permisions
to make it executable with
#chmod 755 cvs

now as root
# cd /usr/local
# mkdir nist_CVS (or whatever you want to call it)
# cd nist_CVS

then while still online paste these two lines into a terminal window

#cvs -d:pserver:anonymous-at-cvs.EMC.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/EMC login

(hit 'enter' when asked for password)

#cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous-at-cvs.EMC.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/EMC co -P emc
rcslib

(the lines may wrap in email)
this will get you all the latest source code to work with

tcheuss
