Re: emc-0.9-25

Ian

The complaint is from the run program. It is designed to search out your
real time and non real time platforms and build some links from real and
nonrealtime directories in the emc/plat directory.

I don't know that this will work for the whole system of yours but you can
make a link from whatever plats are in that directory to the ones that it
thinks that it has found.

My emc/plat directory looks like
drwxr-xr-x 6 ray operator 4096 Nov 20 12:19 linux_2_2_14/
drwxr-xr-x 6 ray operator 4096 Nov 20 12:21 rtlinux_2_2/

so I would need to make two links

[ray-at-localhost emc]$ cd plat
[ray-at-localhost plat]$ ln -s rtlinux_2_2 rtlinux_2_3
[ray-at-localhost plat]$ ls -l
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 6 ray operator 4096 Nov 20 12:19 linux_2_2_14/
drwxr-xr-x 6 ray operator 4096 Nov 20 12:21 rtlinux_2_2/
lrwxrwxrwx   1 ray      operator       11 Nov 21 19:29 rtlinux_2_3 -> rtlinux_2_2/
[ray-at-localhost plat]$

and there it is.

You might have to make two links if you find that it is also looking for a
linux platform other than the one you have.

Yes I still have a common problem with mbuff. Several others have
reported similar problems but it seldom stops them from making parts.

Hope this helps.
