Yes, as far you are talking for the movement of the axis.  I have a running
system with stg2 RH 5.2 K2.0.36. february version.
The problems I still have are working in mm and with the limitswitches.
For the first problem I think they made a conversion fault of 10, 100 or
1000. But this isn`t working in any version, and  any movement given in  MDI
is seen by  EMC as a command in inches even all units are put in mm.
For the second you can see this problem when flipping the limitswitches in
the STG-soft : that the wrong address is used, try to flip P1/41 and you
will see that it gives you a limitswitch fault.

The best way to  determine if the problem is the stg-card is using only
there software, also the windows soft was very useful to me.  When this is
ok, then the best suggestion I can make is to work with the older kernel.
