Emc users +

We placed a GPLD copyright version of the EMC Handbook on OpenAvenue - in
their concurrent versioning system.  If you would be willing to help,
research, write, edit, read, comment, or test parts of this documentation
project, we encourage you to do so.  

You can read about OpenAvenue at http://www.openave.com.  Part way down
their home page you will see a "tour oasis" which will introduce you to
much of the service.

Rather than having to learn all about CVS, OpenAvenue allows you to work
from your favorite web browser. (you will have to allow them to place and
read a few cookies, and run some java stuff on your machine)  It is a bit
slow, but it seems to work very well.

You can read more about the Handbook there by selecting projects, EMC
Handbook, and forum.

We hope that this makes it easier for all of us to get vital EMC info into
one place where we can all use and contribute to it.
