I am in the process of designing a foam cutter which will require 4 Axis
control (Two parallel axes pairs). Each axis is linear and would normally be
X Y U and V, unfortunately U and V are not directly supported by EMC. After
reading the 274 documentation I understand that B is available as a linear
axis and is supported by the g0 and g1 codes. This means that the four axes
would be XYZ&B.
I tried to configure 4 axes in the emc.ini file and ran emc only to get an
error message whenever the g1 code included a B parameter.
How do I configure EMC to support 4 linear axes for Motion, Display,
Simulation and Logging ?
