That should have read "eight channel  8 bit  D/A  ISA card" of course.

And perhaps you are correct in that more than 8 bits is desirable for a higher
end setup, but I thought perhaps eight channels -at- 8 bits at that price would
be compelling for lower end or purely experimental setups.
