I guess the model 421 would work for a 3-axis Mill with open-loop 
spindle. No handwheels, plenty of I/O, A/D's for feedrate pot inputs.
Not too bad for $303 (1 pc) $275 (2-9 pcs). I might be interested in
one at that 2 pc price if a wrapper is easily possible, but I am more
interested in if a wrapper looks reasonable for the model 626.
