After burning a lot of the midnight oil - I think I've got it sorted.
I had been worried about the lack of files in the rtlinux_09J/bin directory,
but if they are loaded as moudules from the lib directory, I need not have
worried.
Still couldn't get emc running properly last night though ;-{
Yet this evening, after tweeking a few BIOS settings - changing the DRAM speed
form 60 to 70nS - and doing a clean install of emc, it all apears to be
running fine. I'm a little perplexed as to what was wrong, everything ran OK
before the system crash - It could be that some of the CMOS settings got
corrupted......
Perhaps a list of the generated files could be included in the EMC handbook.
