Jon, in your reply to Fred I read that you build your own servo amps.
I would like to do that also for my next project, an EMCO COMPACT 10
turning machine.
I use DC servo motors from PARVEX in the 120 Watt range 
(40 volt, 3 Ampere nominal).
Would you like to share your servo amplifier schematics/experiences?
I would be very interested.
