Sounds good to me. My definition of the task got simpler because you can
stack up a series of mdi commands in the interpreter and it treats them
somewhat like a regular program -- when one block ends it executes the
next. We don't have to wait for it to finish one mdi before we send it
another.
The routine can set a mark at the start of the mdi string and a second one
just before a tilde. Send that string and reset the mark just after the
tilde and go again until it hits the end of the string.

I like your mods to tkemc. I still have a question about what emc is
really using for feedrate because of what Jon E. said a while back. I've
seen it do some goofy stuff here, like running f3 when it says f50.
