Re: BDI212-01

Kurtis,

I have burned a BDI from the ISO image, although it was an older version. I
burned about 4 coasters before I finally got it right. At first there was a
problem with the FTP server I was getting the image from. After that was fixed
I finally got an image file with a good MD5 checksum.

I still burned another coaster before I realized that you cannot "copy" the
image file to the CD like you would do with other files. You have to "create
disk from image file". I don't have that CD burner program on this system, so I
can't tell you the version or the exact menu picks for sure. I think it was
with the Adaptec Easy CD Creator, and (I think) it was under "FILE", "Create CD
>From Image File". This is totally different from "copying" the image file to
the CD.

Regards,
Steve
