Re: Another question -

Pete

that is a normal Slackware package use installpkg to install it just
like any of the packages from the Slackware CD or FTP site
it will put everything in the right place automaticly and be ready to
run EMC
everything is pre-compiled ,tested ,and working with the default values

it needs a working RTLinux-3.1 kernel with the realtime modules
(I'm making the packages for those as well)

you should have the Tcl/Tk packages installed for the TkEMC GUI
from
 ftp.slackware.com/pub/mirrors/slackware/slackware-8.0/slakware/
  tcl1/tcl.tgz
  tcl1/tclx.tgz
  tcl1/tix.tgz
  tcl1/tk.tgz
  tcl1/expect.tgz

also may need these just to be sure (for development libs)
  x1/xaw3d.tgz
  d1/ncurses.tgz
  d1/glibc.tgz
