RE: BDI on Windows Drive

I am also interested in installing a BDI on a system with windows - The
machine does other work and dedicating it to Linux is not an option - I
can, and have installed red hat + RT Linux and can make it comfortably
co-exist with windows (with LILO as it should) but I have never been
able to get EMC to work via any path but the (old old old) BDI.

Is there any way of installing BDI on a drive where Win98 is on
C:(parition 1) and locating BDI on say partition hda2 and hda5. I
see the BDI defaults to hda1 and hda5. Then using a boot disk to get
into EMC. I've given up trying to get Win and Linux together using
LILO.
