>From the little info I have, it seems that from the xterm (terminal) the
reason will be that the sim.run and emc.run is not located in your PATH
statement. From xterm (or ??) type echo $PATH, and if the location where
your sim.run and emc.run is not in your PATH statement the shell can't
find sim.run and emc.run. You could do a "which sim.run or emc.run" and
see if the locations are part of your PATH statement.
