Re: rtlinux



The reason I had sent the original message was that I had been unable to get
to the download section at rtlinux.com. Either it was down for maintenance,
or they were making changes to stay out of trouble with GPL. I think I have
everything downloaded now, just have to find time to try and install. I have
copies of slackware 7 & 8 and I need to learn and relearn the necesary unix
stuff to see which one might be the best to install rtlinux and EMC on top
of. Slack 7 (bigslack) was easier to configure, but slack 8 works with more
hardware. After I get it running I want to try and make a zip (or multiple
zips) and see if I can use that to move Linux/rtlinux/EMC to another
machine.
