Re: Installation hitch

Hi Max,
Yes that was a typo on the fonts error. To give you some further info on
what the system is doing here is an extract of an email to Paul:
Paul,
The problem happens on both disks, I've only tried it on the one computer as
I'm not game to try it on my other pc incase it dose install and wipe off
all of my other files.
The cd rom appears to be an NEC CDR-1300a manufacture date 1996
The chip in the motherboard is an Intel Pentium 100 BP 80502100 SUII0 icomp
index=815
The video card is a Trident tgui9440-1 B48358.1-ts.b
The hard drives are Caviar 2850 wdac2850-00f and a Quantum Fireball CR
The soundcard is only identifiable by Vibra16s Creativetech '94 TC2504-TCQ
9614 printed onthe main chip.
The network card has a lot of chips with YCL printed on them, there is also
a bar code sticker with AH006736 on it.
It has 40 Meg of ram, 32 of which is EDO RAM, not sure what th origional 8
Meg is.
The A drive is a Mitsubishi Electric mf355f-2250mg.
I managed to get this up on the screen:
*probing buses
*finished bus probing
*found nothing
*trying to mount device hdc
*probing buses
*finished bus probing
*found suggestion of card:trident tgui9440 (generic)
