If you are still using the Jan, 2001 release or a newer version the probe
routines should be included.  

I'm just sure that Will wrote a response to this question some time ago. 
The two lines in the ini file that are relevant are in 

; Trajectory planner section --------------------------------------------------
[TRAJ]

PROBE_INDEX =           0
PROBE_POLARITY =        1

If I remember right, the zero index is the s0 in.  You should be able to
find the correct pin if you watch your parport with IO_Show.tcl in the
scripts menu while you tickle the pins with a small resistor.  I use a
couple hundred ohms just to make sure that they all work properly.

Then pull up Will's probe routine and fill in a move and start it.  If it
stops instantly, the polarity is reversed for your setup.  If the move
goes, short the pins until you find the correct one and it should show a
probe flag and stop axis motion.
