compiler survey requested

hello;

i upgraded the compiler on the alpha today to
gcc-2.95.2. it did have egcs-1.1.2 previously.

emc specifically
emc/src/emcmot/emcmot.c emc/src/emcstepmot.c
will not compile using gcc-2.95.2 on the alpha.

i had no problems compiling when using egcs-1.1.2.

i would like to take a quick survey of what
compilers others using and on what platforms.

on the 233mhz intel pentium platform is gcc-2.95.3
on the 466mhz alpha pc164   platform is gcc-2.95.2
