emc & rtlinux questions and suggestions

hello;

since working on emc & rtlinux on both the intel & alpha
platforms i have been making changes to both emc & rtlinux.
the changes to emc will not work without the changes to
rtlinux.

question:
should we create a rtlinux directory in cvs?
baseline check-in would be rtlinux-3.0-pre8.
there would be at least to branches under the
rtlinux directory:
linux_kernels-2.2.x
linux_kernels-2.4.x
