Re: new EMC release / rtlinux-2.2 problem

Hi,

I too am having the same problems as William but I don't seem to be clever
enough to correct them. I am getting exactly the same error message when I
get as far as 'make bzImage'. I ran the 'ls -ld' commands and got the same
message for the first.

The second gave me only

lrwx...... 2 root root 4096 May 15 22:51 /usr/src/linux
(apparently no link although the file manager shows a link which, if I click
on it, then displays the contents of '/rtlinux-2.2/' )

and the third just told me there was no such file or directory
(confirmed by looking in file manager - there is no 'linux' directory within
/usr/src/(linux)rtlinux-2.2/include/ )

Can anyone help me sort this out please? I am running Mandrake 7 on a P166
machine.

Ian
