Just an added comment:

The states I said, like (not active) -(manual) -(program run),
and a hand-wheel, - could work as:

I have explained the (not active) state - not a good word for it, hmm...

But in manual mode, it could do jog commands, and in "program run", it could be
a feedrate override.
