Dan,

One simple way is to use

xwd > myfile.xwd

It changes the cursor to crosshairs and will beep after a mouse press
to complete it's capture in xwd format.

To verify what you captured, use "xv" or "xwud -in myfile.xwd"

(where "myfile" is any name you choose)

The xwd can be converted to other formats using "xv"

How do you make a screen shot of the TkEmc GUI in linux?  I want to put one
on the dropbox.
